The first person you will meet is Krissa, our appointment manager. She has worked in the dental field since 1997. She has participated in many continuing education classes and is presently honing her skills at multi-tasking raising a son. She and her husband have a home in Arlington. Our Financial Coordinator, Carole, shares the phone and office duties, She has worked for Dr. Holden since 1987. She gathers your insurance information, helps with financing and keeping your accounts accurate. When the door opens and it's your turn, one of our two assistants will call your name: Pam has worked for Dr. Holden since 1985. She is a Certified Dental Assistant and attended Bellingham Technical College. She lives with her husband and niece on Samish Island. Mindy is a Certified Dental Assistant who attended Bellingham Technical College and has worked in our office since 1997. She lives in Mount Vernon with her husband and son. Both our assistants are highly skilled in assisting duties and have attended numerous continuing education classes. They also excel in making your visit as pleasant as possible, because they really care about your comfort. We have two hygienists, who are dedicated to helping you keep you teeth and gums in excellent health. They are an excellent source of hygiene information. Both hygienists take several classes a year to keep up on the latest in hygiene. Michelle has worked here since 2000. She completed the Dental Hygiene Program at Mt. Hood College. She manages to work here full-time as well as raising a family with her husband. Ann is here three days a week and spends her remaining time with her daughter and son. She attended Lake Washington Technical College and has worked here since 2001. The Doctor's wife Bev, is our office manager and is always there to help with office duties when needed. Our entire staff enjoys participating in fund raising events, community service, and local donations. You might find us delivering cookie baskets to hospital workers and teachers, or donating dental supplies to schools, homeless shelters and the Children's Museum. We raised over $1000 for the Diabetes Tulip Walk and we hold drawings for school supplies, theater tickets and other fun things for our patients during the year.
